THE VHS PARADISE is a free adventure title for PC from indie developer fedev and is a first-person psychological horror game featuring low-poly graphics and follows the story of a cashier at a VHS store and his strange experience at work during his night shift in a dangerous part of the city.

Working the night shift

In THE VHS PARADISE, you work the night shift as a cashier at a local VHS store. Your job is fairly simple, man the cash register and service customers coming in to rent movies or TV shows on tape. Every once in a while, you'll have conversations with them before they leave.

However, the store is located in the dangerous part of the city known for its high crime rate and other strange incidents. What starts out as a normal night on the job goes into all kinds of situations. There are three possible endings to the game, but the overall gameplay is still rather short.

All in all, THE VHS PARADISE is an atmospheric and bizarre horror game that goes in all kinds of directions for its scenarios. If you like these kinds of psychological experiences, then this is worth checking out, and the multiple endings keep things interesting, too.
